This year we participated again in the Progressive FMCG/retail conference

After skipping last year's conference for epidemiological reasons, PIS participated again at the PROGRESSIVE FMCG/RETAIL conference. The eighteenth edition of the conference was held on September 22 at the traditional location - Zagreb's Esplanade Hotel.



Unlike previous editions, this year's conference was sponsored together with our partner Leafio - a company that develops software for the optimization and automation of retail processes. The reason why Leafio joined us at the conference is to present this company to the Croatian market.

In addition to the promotional stand, the company Leafio introduced itself to the conference visitors with a special lecture. The presentation of the title “OPTIMIZATION: The Key to Improving Inventory Performance in Retail,” was held by Leafio’s Director of International Business Development, Vladimir Bezrebryi. As an expert in retail automation and optimization technology, Bezrebryi presented the inventory optimization solutions that Leafio offers. In addition to explaining inventory optimization procedures, during this lecture, Vladimir presented automation solutions and presented common user errors, as well as practical examples.



The participants talked about the key success factors, the biggest challenges and the future of the FMCG/RETAIL industry, the strategies of leaders, customer motivation and technological and digital tools to increase profitability, but also the protection and security of large systems. At the conference, we also talked about artificial intelligence, solutions related to e-commerce and the importance of analytics, innovation, the art of negotiation and the biggest challenges facing the modern retail industry.


The conference brought together approximately 130 experts from various areas of retail.
